Got up to a couple of things for new years eve, jack and shit.  Ho Ho.  My life as a writer of witty and captivating literature is right on track.  Just let me finish mixing up this shot and I'll be right on to it....

So that's how it seems.  Scored on Chrissie day, scored on the first day of the year, seems there are no sacred times for me.  Maybe I must make my own.  Tolkien constructed his own mythology complete with language, histories and heroes.  Surely I can concoct a few spurious sacred days that'll serve me to avoid the gabster till I strengthen up a little.  Then once clean a fortnight, back to the gym, then etc etc.  Street art of inner Brissie webpage going well (click here) with <% dim filesys, folder, folder_name_web, folder_name_drive, files_collection, filecount, filename, rand, file, i ' store the images directory name in a variable folder_name_web = "../images/street_art_inner_bris/images/images" ' map the folder name as accessible through the web to the actual path on the hard-drive. folder_name_drive = Server.MapPath(folder_name_web) ' create a FileSystem Object and use it to get a Folder Object set filesys = server.CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject") set folder = filesys.GetFolder(folder_name_web) ' get a collection of all the files in the folder set files_collection = folder.Files 'get the number of files in the collection filecount = files_collection.Count response.write(filecount) ' output the html set folder = nothing set filesys = nothing %> images to speak of.   Something to do I guess between the injections of opiates (Woe is me I better stop this morbid train.. "Conductor, I think I saw a body on the rail a moment back...shall I pull the Emergency Brake or you?")

<% straight = 24 * (now() - sober) response.write "The latest clock has been ticking for " & straight & " hours. Always trust the clock in the most recent diary entry as I tend to not update em all until I learn about declaring global variables....
