'Eedjits'

In mho anyone with English language skills who can't manage to open an account is open to suspicion.

The site exists for members to contribute what they wish presuming their contribution has some intrinsic value. Contributors who fail to recognise and respect the commonly accepted standards for effective communication are also open to suspicion.

Those members who are incapable of producing something that is clearly coherent and of some value to others while using the site for entertainment on social media sites will be deleted.

Infection on the Site

I've noticed that advertisements have begun appearing at the top of the page and in blue letters similar to the font used on the site spriuking for the 'US Powerball Lottery', 'How to take part if you're not in the USA', 'Learn how to safely update windows' etc. It could be an infection in my browser (Chrome).

A Handbill/Notice to attract Contributers

I mentioned in a comment in the string; 'An App for Usage Tracker' that I was intending to produce a Handbill/Flyer to put places like QuIHNN, BIALA, etc to attract more contributers.

To this end I am appealing for ideas and suggestions for topics, logos, attitude('tude), locations and whatever else could be relevant to the task.

Don't be shy, I know that there are people looking at this who have demonstrated their ability to think creatively and their knowledge of the topic from whatever angle so don't be shy, we're all adults here.

Usage Tracker

Several days ago I began using the Usage Tracker to work these benzos out of my system I have noticed some problems. Most importantly I cannot get my Timeline for Benzos.

Dreams

Since Felix added his post 'Dreaming of Dragons' i have added some comments but now i am making it a discussion topic because i find it so fascinating. I encourage all who have dreams they can recall which they feel they can share to do so.

Site Feedback

Well I finally got around to using this site (maybe site should be on the list of usage. Bah ha). Here are some things I have noticed that could be improved:

The date is in US format (ie mm/dd/yyyy). Is it possible to change it to AU or UK format?

All usage pie chart and table should not be displayed unless user logs in to site. It is sensitive information and shouldn't be displayed to any Jo Blow stumbling onto the site.

Life Is Movement

As i was searching the search engine for some links between the Thai Sangha or Buddhism i came across a connection between the Brisbane Broncos and Muay Thai. The Buddhist cultures in Siam and Myanmar have traditions which maintain an inexorable link between Buddhism and the other social institutions including the military. The concept of Boh in Myanmar is still strong and makes the Generals acutely aware of the danger inherent in ignoring the obligations the military must observe concerning its role as a protector. Similar sentiments i expect exist in the Muay Thai traditions in Siam.

The Usage Tracker

Since I have been using the tracker I have found my attitude towards it changing. In 'My First Tracker' I described how i did it in my head without being aware of the technique and found the principal works well when one wants to cut down usage but what if someone has no intention of stopping or even reducing their intake? Should I abandon the idea as useless or inappropriate? Maybe but I have noticed the exercise does have some value.

Drugs of addiction

With news stories about a new stimulant called MDPV the news media once again focuses on addiction as a prime reason for concern. What continues to concern me is how addiction manifests itself. Dictionary.com defines addiction as "the state of being enslaved to a habit or practice or to something that is psychologically or physically habit-forming, as narcotics, to such an extent that its cessation causes severe trauma" which then beggars the question - What is severe trauma?
